Te Whare Pounamu Dunedin Women’s Refuge advocates for women, whānau, tamariki (children) and rangatahi (youth) supporting a pathway to safety.
Their aim is to eliminate family violence in our community by providing support, advocacy, education, and awareness.
If something does not feel right to you, then it is not OK.
Family violence can affect women of any age, with or without children.
Family violence is a pattern of power, control and coercion.
Abuse is not just physical.
