As the year comes to a close, we’ve taken some time to reflect on what has truly made it special. It’s been a year defined by connection within our team, with our community, and alongside the incredible people and organisations we’ve had the privilege of working with. From fundraising and events to personal milestones (and a few furry additions), here’s our year wrapped up.
We quite literally snuggled up for a good cause when the team got cosy in their pyjamas to support the 2025 Pyjama Drive with Foster Hope. The initiative helps provide warmth and comfort to children in foster care across Otago and Southland during the winter months. Thanks to the generosity of our wider community, we collected 45+ pairs of pyjamas. Every donation made a difference, and we are so grateful to everyone who helped spread a little extra warmth and care ❤️
Community connection was a big theme throughout the year, particularly when it came to property conversations. We hosted a Hello Sold Sign evening alongside Laura and Kerry from Nidd Realty and Amy from Mortgage Link as well as hosting Let’s Talk Property with Swift Mortgages and Ray White, and attending other events and what fabulous evenings they were ✨ It was fantastic connecting with so many people thinking about selling their properties and or buying, sharing insights, stories, and a few laughs along the way. Thank you to everyone who came along; we loved being part of your journey and opening up honest, practical conversations about property.
Giving back remained at the heart of what we do, especially in the lead-up to Christmas. In October, we had the honour of hosting a Quiz Night in support of the Foster Hope Christmas Gift Drive 🎁✨ Thanks to everyone’s incredible generosity, we raised $2,000 to help bring joy to children in care. Alongside this, our collection point gathered over 150 gifts, which were wrapped and ready to brighten Christmas morning. A huge thank-you to everyone who joined us, donated, and supported the cause, your kindness truly made an impact.
Alongside these larger moments, we’ve also been quietly involved in a number of community initiatives throughout the year supporting causes, events, and individuals in ways that don’t always make the spotlight. Whether behind the scenes, through time, resources, or lending a helping hand where it’s needed, giving back remains an important part of who we are and how we work. These quieter contributions are just as meaningful to us, and we’re proud to play our part in strengthening the community we’re blessed to be part of.
It was also a year full of proud professional and personal milestones within our team. Tessa was admitted to the Bar, Maria became a Registered Legal Executive, and Emily and Grace celebrated their graduations 🎓. On top of that, two of our team members achieved the exciting milestone of buying their first homes, a reminder that the work we do every day is something we experience personally too.
And of course, no year-in-review would be complete without acknowledging our four-legged colleagues. Tornado Poppy, the tabby, joined the team as Paw Clerk and quickly made herself at home. Sunshine Bea earned a well-deserved promotion to Senior Paw Executive, while Frisky Frank became our newest recruit as Junior Paw Clerk. They’ve brought plenty of character, companionship, and smiles to our days.
We have only highlighted a few snippets of our year but we loved every moment!
We would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our clients, industry professionals, and our wider circle of family and friends. Your trust, collaboration, encouragement, and ongoing support mean more to us than we can say. Whether you’ve worked alongside us professionally, supported us behind the scenes, or simply cheered us on, you are an important part of our journey and we are truly grateful to have you with us.
Looking back, it’s hard not to feel incredibly grateful. Thank you to everyone who supported us, collaborated with us, and shared these moments along the way.
